Canadian Army Deployment in Ukraine

Canadian Army Deployment West of the Dnieper River in Ukraine….

Canadian Defense Minister Anita Anand announced the Canadian military’s redeployment in Ukraine to the west of the Dnieper River.

“Our army has moved west of the Dnieper River and we will continue to take necessary precautions to keep our Canadian forces safe,” Anand said.

Anand stressed, according to the Globe and Mail newspaper, that she could not definitely say why and when the decision to redeploy the forces would be made.
