The Jordanian-Emirati Business Council celebrates Jordan’s Independence Day and the Silver Jubilee of King Abdullah II
ABU DHABI, 17th May / WAM / The Jordanian-Emirati Business Council held a reception on the occasion of the Independence Day of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan and the Silver Jubilee of His Majesty King Abdullah II of Jordan, in the presence of His Excellency Nassar Al-Habashneh, Jordanian Ambassador to the country.
The ceremony was attended by prominent economists, heads of business councils, members of the diplomatic corps, and a large number of members of the Jordanian community in Abu Dhabi.
During the ceremony, Muhammad Sayel Al-Maaytah, Chairman of the Jordanian-Emirati Businessmen Council, spoke about the anniversary of independence and the development and renaissance achieved by Jordan after independence, pointing to the strength of Jordanian-Emirati relations and the solid relationship between the two sister leaderships and the Emirati and Jordanian peoples.
Al-Maaita praised Jordanian businessmen and investors residing in the UAE, noting their contribution to the sustainable renaissance witnessed by the UAE.
His Excellency Ambassador Nassar Al-Habashneh honored a number of Jordanian businessmen and investors who have made a clear and visible impact in strengthening economic and trade relations between the UAE and the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan.
