Poland prepares to receive Ukrainian refugees

The head of the Polish National Security Office Pavel Soloch announced that Poland to the influx of large numbers of refugees from Ukraine.

“Of course, our authorities take these options into account. The President consults on these issues with the government, and the Cabinet prepares the relevant procedures.
We must take into account the option of the massive influx of refugees.”

According to him, at least one million citizens of Ukraine are permanently present in Poland.

“Of course, if some citizens of Ukraine decide to leave their country, they will look for contacts between the Ukrainian community on the territory of Poland. Here, special efforts of the Polish state will be required, and we are preparing for such an option,” Solokh said.
