Hidden video cameras were found in the women’s restroom at the Australian Embassy in Bangkok.

As part of the investigation, police officers have detained a suspect, a technical worker at the embassy.

“A former IT specialist was arrested at the embassy, ​​who holds dual citizenship from Thailand and Australia, who previously worked for various Australian companies and government institutions, then returned to Thailand and ended up working at the embassy.

Small cameras were installed in such a way as to allow women’s bathrooms and toilet rooms to be filmed in video form.
These monitoring devices were found by the Embassy’s security service.

As it turned out, an embassy employee noticed a micro-memory card stuck in the camera on the bathroom floor. Soon the inspection began.

It is not yet known how long the illegal surveillance of the girls took place and who witnessed it.

At the same time, the Australian Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade confirmed that the former Thai employee was arrested during the investigation.
