French central bank printing house on fire
A fire broke out at the Central Bank printing house in the French commune of Chamales, 350 kilometers south of Paris.
The fire has been burning for more than 10 hours. As a result of the fire, 24 people were slightly injured. Residents of neighboring houses were asked not to leave the house. In addition, Duclos Boulevard is closed due to the fire.
The printing press in Shamali produces one fifth of the banknotes of the European Union. In 2017, it had about 700 employees.
