Japan calls on its citizens to “immediately leave Ukraine”
The Japanese Foreign Ministry raised the threat level for citizens of Ukraine to level 4.
The fourth level of threat is the maximum. It includes an invitation to “immediately leave the territory of Ukraine” and the refusal of any trips to the country.
The Japanese Foreign Ministry said that Japan insists on the departure of its citizens from Ukraine due to the “continued increase in tension on the Ukrainian-Russian border.” They noted that the development of the situation could not be predicted “despite the ongoing diplomatic efforts” to resolve the crisis.
