Jews dress as Muslims so they can pray on the Temple Mount
This was stated by Raphael Morris, a member of the organization “Return to the Mountain” that ultra-Orthodox Jews dress as Muslims and learn Arabic to pray on the Temple Mount in Jerusalem.
“You change your clothes, you change your hat, you paint some facial hair and even learn a little Arabic, all so you can pray on the Temple Mount,” the activist said, in an interview with the BBC.
According to him, he and a group of activists regularly go to the Jewish holy place in Jerusalem during Muslim prayers, but instead of praying in Arabic, he recites the prayer in Hebrew.
Morris adds that the ultimate goal of his organization is to build the Third Temple in Jerusalem.
Jerusalem was completely placed under the control of the Israel Defense Forces in 1967 as a result of the victory over Jordan and Egypt.
Muslims retained control of the mountain on which the Al-Aqsa Mosque, one of the most important shrines in Islam, is located, but Jews and Christians were then allowed to visit the Temple Mount on the condition that they leave for prayer.
