Actor Frank Pesci has passed away

Actor Frank Pesci has died at the age of 75, from complications related to dementia.

Written by obituary authors Frank Pesci, a friend of actors Sylvester Stallone and Tony Danes, he was beloved by those around him for his “big smile, wide range of stories, and broader spirit.”

Pesci used to say, “They make movies about people like me.” The life of Pesci formed the basis of the script – in 1991, George Gallo’s film “29th Street” was released about how Pesci won the lottery on Christmas Eve, but instead of receiving money, he went to the police station after a struggle with a priest . Friends recall that this script made its way onto the screen “in the spirit of Pesci” – without discussing plans, the producer and actor sold the script to various studios.

Frank Pesci has starred in the films Top Gun, Rocky, Paradise Alley, How to Steal a Skyscraper, and The Expendables 3.
