The pope expresses regret for the decline of peace
At a meeting with the representatives of the Eastern Churches, Pope Francis expressed his regret because humanity, which had achieved success in science, philosophy and other areas, was declined on peace issues.
“We hope that we will not be forced to repeat in the third millennium, but we see bloodshed in the Middle East, in Syria and Iraq, the terrible terrible wind in the elbow in Eastern Europe, conversion to thermal weapons, and leave the cold in the hearts of innocent people” .
