China suspends oil purchases from Russia
Chinese companies have temporarily halted purchases of oil from Russia, which is delivered by sea from Far Eastern ports.
According to Bloomberg, the supply interruption is necessary so that the Chinese side can assess the possible consequences of the Russian military operation in Ukraine. A number of banks refuse to open letters of credit to buyers of Russian oil. Therefore, traders from China are waiting for the situation with financing supplies to clarify.
