An Egyptian student wins one of the ten prizes in a competition "Space is your range" Organized by the Saudi Space Agency

Today, the Saudi Space Agency concluded the activities of its “Space Madak” competition, by announcing the ten winners in the three competition tracks, “Arts, Plants, and Engineering.” – who represent 7 different Arab countries -, on the sidelines of the ceremony organized by the Saudi Space Agency at the headquarters of the Communications, Space and Technology Commission, on the occasion of the first anniversary of the “Saudi Arabia to Space” journey, with the participation of the CEO of the agency, Dr. Muhammad bin Saud Al-Tamimi, in the presence of a number of officials and specialists. And the winners are the ambassadors of the Arab countries, their students.

Throughout all its stages, the competition was able to attract wide interest from ambitious Arab students who are passionate about exploring the fields of space and developing their skills in this vital field.

The areas of participation varied according to the diversity of paths. The competition, which opened the door wide for the participants to present their ideas and innovations, which received the attention of the jury consisting of a group of scientists, experts and specialists in the field of space. After several stages of competition, they selected the ten winners for their creativity and the excellence of their contributions, and they are the winner in the arts track, Pioneer of Inspiration Yamen. Al-Zoubi from the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, the winner of the arts track, pioneer of inspiration, Priti Sami, from the Arab Republic of Egypt, the winner of the arts track, pioneer of inspiration, Jawaher Farhan, from the Kingdom of Bahrain, the winner of the arts track, pioneer of inspiration, Rafqa Mansour, from the Lebanese Republic, and the winner of the arts track, pioneer of inspiration, Aline. Al-Issa from the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

 

 And the winners in the plants track were the pioneers of growth, Sadan Al-Dosari, from the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Houriya Bashikh, from the Kingdom of Morocco, and Fatima Al-Zahra Al-Khabouriya, from the Sultanate of Saudi Arabia. Amman, and in the engineering track, two pioneers of innovation, Abdul Rahman Qattan from the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, and Yara Reda from the Syrian Arab Republic, won.

 

 The competition concluded its activities today with the announcement The winners; More than 50 creative entries reached the final stage, out of a total of 80,000 entries submitted to compete for the competition prizes, which amount to 500,000 riyals, with the winning projects being delivered to the International Space Station “SSI”, which is the largest innovative platform in the world, which represents an opportunity. It is unique for them to contribute to the development of research, development and innovation processes, and to enrich Arab contributions in this field.

 

 It is noteworthy that the “Space is Your Range” competition It is an important step in the framework of the agency’s efforts to support research, development and innovation in the broad fields of space, and to stimulate the creative thinking of Arab students of all age groups. It also aims to enhance interest in the field of space, and encourage young talents in the Arab world to innovate and excel in this field of space, as it is a trillion-dollar economy.
