Canada sends more weapons to Ukraine

Canada’s Minister of National Defense Anita Anand said the country will send additional military support to Ukraine.

Canadian Deputy Prime Minister Chrystia Freeland, along with Anand and Immigration Minister Sean Fraser, provided an update on Canada’s response to Russia’s special operation in Ukraine.

“We intend to provide Ukraine with additional assistance in the form of lethal weapons,” Anand said.
