Representative Yousry Al-Maghazi, a member of the House of Representatives, confirmed that the development and reconstruction of Sinai is a top priority for the Egyptian state under Sisi’s directives, saying: “Sinai is at the forefront of many of the projects of the New Republic, and this is shown by the state directing investments to Sinai amounting to about 600 billion pounds during the 10 years to advance it.”
Al-Maghazi explained in a press statement today that there are many results on the ground, after the development plan turned into a tangible reality, and what was stated in the draft general budget and the economic development plan And Social Affairs for the current fiscal year confirms that Sinai is a major and first priority in the comprehensive development plan.
The member of the House of Representatives revealed that the volume of investments pumped into Sinai is more than one trillion pounds and is working to double it over the next five years, within a comprehensive vision. And serious about the development plan.
The representative went on to say that the development of Sinai has accelerated in recent years, especially after the state succeeded in eliminating terrorism that had threatened it since the events of 2011.
