McDonald’s is closing 850 restaurants in Russia

McDonald’s, the world’s largest fast-food chain, has temporarily closed all 850 of its restaurants in Russia.

The company noted that the McDonald’s network in Russia employs 62,000 people who “have invested their hearts and souls” in the brand. The decision of the company’s management is connected with the conduct of the special operation of the Russian Federation in Ukraine.

Earlier today, the French company L’Oreal announced the closure of its stores in Russia. Also on March 8, Depositphotos stopped selling content in Russia and Belarus.
