Johnson: London will increase sanctions against Russia

The UK government intends to tighten sanctions against the Russian Federation and increase military support to Kyiv.

“We are expanding our sanctions and increasing our military support (for Ukraine) and the humanitarian aid package to help people on the ground,” Johnson said.

He also accused the Russian military of “attacks on innocent civilians in Irbin and Bucha”. According to him, London will contribute to the investigation of these cases by the International Criminal Court.

The statement confirmed that the British Treasury had already approved additional financial support for the investigation and the dispatch of expert investigators.
