urgent.. "The preacher" Ali visits Maaloul in the hospital after Achilles tendon surgery
Mahmoud Al-Khatib, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Al-Ahly Club, was keen to visit Ali Maaloul, the left back of the first football team, in the hospital. Maaloul was injured during the match between Al-Ahly and Esperance of Tunisia in the first leg of the African Champions League final last Saturday evening.
The medical examinations that Maaloul underwent immediately after his injury confirmed that he was suffering from a torn Achilles tendon.
During the past few hours, Al-Khatib visited Ali Maaloul in the hospital after the Achilles tendon surgery, which the player performed under the supervision of one of the leading specialist doctors.
The club president reassured Maaloul’s condition, and stressed his support, raising his morale, and providing all his therapeutic and rehabilitative needs as best as possible so that he can return to the stadiums in his best condition.
Al-Ahly is scheduled to host its counterpart Esperance next Saturday evening in the second leg of the African Champions League final at Cairo International Stadium.
