Mohamed El-Sayed wins a bronze medal in the Grand Prix Fencing Championship in Colombia

Mohamed Al-Sayed, a player for the national fencing team, won the bronze medal in the Grand Prix Men’s Fencing Championship, which is currently being held in Colombia during the period from 3 to 5 May of this year.

 

He achieved Al-Sayed placed third and won the bronze medal after losing in the semi-finals to Hungary’s Gergely Seklosy, with a score of 5-15.

 

Mohamed Al-Sayed, the Egyptian fencing team player, played strong matches throughout the tournament.

 

Al-Sayed won in the round of 64 over the Italian player with a score of 15-11, then Al-Sayed was able to win in the round of 32 over the Chinese player with a score 13-12.

 

Al-Sayed was able to defeat the Italian champion in the quarter-finals with a score of 15-12, then he was able to defeat the French champion, ranked sixth in the world, Yannick Borel, in the quarter-finals. With a score of 15-14, before losing to the Hungarian champion in the semi-finals and winning the individual bronze.

 

The list of the Egyptian team participating in the tournament included Mohamed Al-Sayed, Mohamed Yassin, and Ahmed. Mr. Mahmoud Mohsen, and the national team is technically led by Madri Sandro Como.
