He said that the opportunities for cooperation in the field of green hydrogen are promising opportunities for Egypt and the European Union, indicating that he hopes, in light of the improved investment climate in Egypt, that more European companies will invest in Egypt, noting that the bold economic reforms that the Egyptian government has recently taken It is an indicator that calls for optimism and promises more in the future.

 

  He pointed out that his country will host the Green Hydrogen Summit, which will be held in mid-May, and that it is also looking forward to the business forum that will be held on its sidelines and the high-level Egyptian participation. He pointed out that the investment forum organized by Egypt in cooperation with the European Union at the end of next June represents… Also an opportunity to strengthen relations.

 

With regard to the economic field, the Dutch ambassador said that the year 2022 witnessed a great boom in economic cooperation between his country and Egypt, as the volume of exports from the Netherlands to Egypt reached For about 2 billion euros, and the volume of imports from Egypt to the Netherlands for about 1.5 billion euros. 

 

On the other hand, Ambassador Peter Molema stressed the importance of political dialogue between the Netherlands and the Union. The European Union and Egypt, which is increasingly important and addresses many topics, including peace and security, human rights, combating terrorism, as well as immigration and refugees.

 

He added " Achieving stability in the region is what we all aspire to, and we will continue to work hard until this is achieved. We believe that the situation in the Gaza Strip requires all of our attention, and we hope that together we can reach a political solution between Israel and the Palestinians in the near term, and we hope for a long-term solution. “Range”.
