NYPD Officers Injured in Bronx Crash, Teen Grazed by Bullet in Morrisania, Bronx

MORRISANIA, Bronx (WABC) — A 13-year-old boy is recovering after a bullet grazed his forehead in the Bronx.

It happened on East 169th Street around 7 pm on Monday.

He was taken to the hospital and is expected to recover.

As police responded to the scene, an officer’s patrol car veered out of the path of another vehicle and crashed into a store on Webster Avenue.

The officers were taken to the hospital and were said to be in stable condition.

So far no arrests have been made and the investigation is ongoing.
