Singapore Airlines makes emergency landing after turbulence leaves one dead and 30 injured
Singapore Airlines says one person was killed and others injured when a London-Singapore flight hit severe turbulence on Tuesday.
The Singapore Airlines flight from London made an emergency landing in Bangkok due to poor weather conditions on Tuesday afternoon. Various Thai media outlets reported that 30 passengers on board were injured.
Bangkok’s Suvarnabhumi Airport official confirmed one death but did not confirm the injury count. Thai immigration police said medical staff had boarded the plane to assess the injuries.
Singapore Airlines said flight SQ321 had 211 passengers and 18 crew on board.
