Doctors: Complications of COVID-19 last more than two years
Doctors at the China-Japan Friendship Hospital in China found that more than half of the patients in the hospital had symptoms of COVID-19 for more than two years.
Observing 1,192 hospitalized patients with COVID-19 showed that 68% of them were concerned about the consequences of the disease six months after recovery, and 55% had complications even after two years.

The scientists noted that “there is a clear need to provide ongoing support to the large proportion of people diagnosed with COVID-19 and to understand how vaccines, new treatments, and viral mutations affect long-term outcomes.”
