For a second and unanimous term… Kuwait chairs the Asian Aquatics Federation
The continent of Asia renewed its confidence in Sheikh Khaled Al-Badr Al-Sabah as President of the Asian Aquatics Confederation for a second session, during the AFC General Assembly meeting held in the Thai capital, Bangkok.
The Asian General Assembly witnessed Unanimous consensus by all attendees on the need for Sheikh Khaled Al-Badr Al-Sabah to remain President of the Federation for what he presented Great efforts and continuous work have had a great impact in promoting and advancing water sports at the Asian level during the past period.
For his part, Sheikh Khaled Al-Badr Al-Sabah extended his highest congratulations and blessings to The political leadership, headed by His Highness the Amir Sheikh Meshal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, and to the Kuwaiti people that Kuwait won this position, expressing his happiness with this confidence from the members of the General Assembly of the Asian Aquatics Federation, which is considered an assignment rather than an honor, stressing that his re-recommendation for this position confirms the great standing. The State of Kuwait is on the Asian sports map, and the people of Kuwait in all fields have the ability to provide an honorable model for their country through sincere and hard work, which is what we always strive for.
Al-Badr expressed his thanks and appreciation. To all those who gave him this precious trust from the members of the General Assembly of the Asian Aquatics Confederation, adding that he will work hard to live up to everyone’s expectations and provide everything that will promote and advance water sports at the Asian level during the next stage.
