Japan grants Ukraine another 300 million dollars

The Japanese authorities will provide Ukraine with another 300 million dollars for humanitarian needs – Japan has previously allocated financial assistance to Ukraine in a similar amount.

RIA Novosti reported with reference to Japanese TV channel NHK.

According to Japanese TV channel NHK, it has been determined that the assistance will be provided within the framework of the decisions of the Group of Seven on providing assistance to Ukraine and its neighboring countries.

As expected, during the meeting of the Japanese leadership with Biden on May 23, the Japanese side will provide clarifications on this.

This week, Japan’s Ministry of Social Security also began offering specialized employment services to Ukrainian refugees in Tokyo and Osaka.
