Taylor Swift holds a PhD in Fine Arts from New York University

Singer Taylor Swift received her Ph.D. in Fine Arts from New York University.

During the ceremony, Swift, as the guest of honor, delivered a congratulatory speech that motivated the graduates.

“I was 90% sure I would be here because I had a song called ’22’,” the artist said.

Swift also joked that she’s not the type that people want to be with in an emergency.

“Unless it’s an emergency due to the fact that you remember the song so badly. Or you really need someone who can name more than 50 cat breeds in a minute,” the singer said.
