Iran begins production of drones in Tajikistan –

Tajikistan will produce Iranian unmanned aircraft “Ababeel 2”. The IRNA news agency reported that this is the first time that Iran has launched a production line of drones in another country.

It is noteworthy that “Ababeel 2” was originally created for surveillance and reconnaissance. Subsequently, the drone received the function of carrying ammunition and was provided to the Iranian armed forces in this configuration.

According to the IRNA news agency, the flight duration of Ababil 2 is 1.5 hours, the range is up to 200 km, and the maximum flight speed is 220 km / h. Guidance and control of the device can be done remotely or in automatic mode.

“Ababil-2” has a pneumatic ground launcher, it can be installed on car platforms. The device can also take off from submarines and high-speed boats – the Ababil 2 drones are already on the boats of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps Navy.
