Al-Erian: The African Single-Leg Championship is a gateway to Egypt hosting major Paralympic events

Sherif El-Erian, Secretary-General of the Olympic Committee, expressed his pride in the good organization of the African Nations Single-Leg Football Championship, which was held yesterday at Al-Salam Stadium.

Egypt will host the African Nations Single-Leg Championship from May 18 to the 27th of the same month. At the stadiums of the Katameya Club in Petrosport.

Al-Erian confirmed in his statements that the Single Leg Football Committee succeeded in organizing an opening befitting the name of Egypt, indicating that the tournament will be a great gateway to hosting major Paralympic events.

He explained: I hope that Egypt will host the next World Cup, especially since the Ministry of Youth and Sports led by Dr. Ashraf Sobhi, the Paralympic Committee headed by Dr. Hossam El-Din Mostafa, and the Olympic Committee will support the organization of any sporting event.

Sherif El-Erian concluded his statements by saying that Egypt is capable of what it has. Thanks to the capabilities and capabilities, and thanks to the support of the political leadership, to host any global event.

The tournament witnesses the participation of 13 countries, namely Gambia, Senegal, Sierra Leone, Algeria, Kenya, Morocco, Burundi, Ghana, Uganda, Angola, Nigeria, Tanzania, Liberia, in addition to Egypt, hosts the tournament.

The first group includes Egypt, Nigeria, and Burundi, the second group includes Liberia, Morocco, and Uganda, the third group includes Ghana, Kenya, Gambia, Algeria, and at the fourth group level, Angola, Tanzania, and Sierra Leone.
