"Sharjah Heritage" Reviews 800 titles in "Abu Dhabi International Book Fair"

ABU DHABI, 2nd May / WAM / The Sharjah Institute for Heritage is participating in the 33rd edition of the Abu Dhabi International Book Fair, which is currently being held at the Abu Dhabi Exhibition Center and continues until the 5th of May, with more than 800 titles in various fields of cultural heritage.

His Excellency Dr. Abdulaziz Al-Musallam, President of the Sharjah Institute for Heritage, said that the issuance of this qualitative quantity of books and publications falls within the Institute’s comprehensive and integrated cultural vision, which aims to provide the cultural arena with valuable scientific products that take into account scientific standards and recognized academic controls in the field of publishing, which are consistent with the Sharjah Cultural Project and are in line with The directives of His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Muhammad Al Qasimi, Member of the Supreme Council and Ruler of Sharjah, aiming to build bridges of knowledge through books by selecting interesting titles with rich content that contribute to crystallizing cultural awareness and enriching the Emirati and Arab library with new and useful things in culture, heritage, anthropology and related topics.

He added that the Institute works to enrich the cultural scene and the Emirati and Arab library with rich and diverse titles in the fields of culture, thought, history, anthropology and other knowledge at every occasion, noting that this participation is considered the second in the Abu Dhabi International Book Fair.

The Institute’s participation in the exhibition’s activities is accompanied by a diverse cultural program that includes a series of lectures and seminars in which an elite group of Emirati experts and researchers participate, in addition to heritage workshops that attract children and adolescents, and signings and launches of the Institute’s latest publications.
