"noatum" Entering the Turkish marine services market
ABU DHABI, 17th May, 2017 (WAM) – Nuatum, which specializes in port management, integrated maritime and logistical services, and is affiliated with Abu Dhabi Ports Group, announced the opening of its new maritime services office in Turkey.
Noatom Marine Services, the marine services arm of Noatom, will manage the new office in a significant step that contributes to expanding the company’s reach into key regional markets, with a focus on enhancing the agency’s comprehensive maritime services in the Mediterranean region. Nuatum Marine Services’ entry into the Turkish market also comes in line with Abu Dhabi Ports Group’s vision for international expansion and presence in major global markets, trade corridors and markets that have close relations with the United Arab Emirates, or that have promising prospects for joint work.
The new office is managed by Omer Küyükoğlu, in his capacity as country director at Notom Marine Services, whose work during the first phase will focus on providing port and marine line services, and providing a comprehensive range of maritime services designed to meet the diverse needs of ship owners, operators, charterers and managers.
Benefiting from Noatom’s local expertise, as well as the synergies between Abu Dhabi Ports Group’s various sectors and Noatom’s integrated business system, the office will provide comprehensive services across every stage of the maritime operations chain from its two locations in Istanbul and Izmir. The office will also rely on Noatom’s extensive local and regional expertise, Noatom Logistics’ strong physical presence in Eastern Europe, and its office in Turkey and Central Asia, which is also headquartered in Istanbul.
