Chinese J-16 fighters penetrate Taiwan’s air defense zone –

Cairo: Hani Kamal El-Din – Chinese Air Force aircraft have entered the Taiwan Air Defense Identification Zone, according to the official website of the Military Administration of the Republic of the island.

According to Taipei sources, four J-16 fighters were involved in the accident, which maneuvered over waters southwest of the island.

The armed forces of Taiwan responded to the actions of the aviation of the People’s Republic of China by deploying anti-aircraft systems and a series of radio alerts to the civilian population.

The escalation in relations between Taipei and Beijing comes amid news of a possible visit by Nancy Pelosi to Taiwan, despite White House concerns.
