Abdullah Al Mazrouei: The UAE companies exhibition and forum enhances investment cooperation between the UAE and Kuwait

KUWAIT, 29 APRIL / WAM / His Excellency Abdullah Al Mazrouei, Chairman of the Federation of Emirates Chambers and Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Abu Dhabi Chamber of Commerce and Industry, said that the exhibition and forum of UAE companies, which was held over the course of 28 and 29 April in Kuwait, would stimulate and enhance investment cooperation between the two brotherly countries in various fields.

Al Mazrouei explained in a statement to the Emirates News Agency, WAM, on the sidelines of the conclusion of the event that was launched yesterday, under the slogan “Exploring Opportunities in the Kuwaiti Market,” that a number of Kuwaiti and Emirati companies have taken actual steps to enhance joint cooperation in specific sectors, including aviation and health services.

He stressed the importance of the results and outputs achieved by the exhibition and forum over two days, which included the necessity of following up on the steps after the event and exchanging fraternal and commercial visits to enrich the investment and commercial sector in the two brotherly countries.

The President of the Federation of Emirates Chambers said in this context: “We have a special relationship with Kuwait, and this is what we sensed at the event: the desire of both parties to develop paths of cooperation and develop investment between the two countries.”

He stressed that the UAE market ranks among the largest in terms of size in the Gulf Cooperation Council countries, expressing his hope that the next stage will witness more achievements and development, noting the depth of the joint relations between the Federation of UAE Chambers, the Kuwait Chamber of Commerce and Industry, and the Federation of Chambers of the Gulf Cooperation Council Countries.
