Abu Dhabi, April 30 / WAM / Al-Ittihad newspaper confirmed that the UAE firmly supports the efforts aimed at establishing an independent Palestinian state with East Jerusalem as its capital, in a way that achieves the aspirations of the brotherly Palestinian people and enhances the path of comprehensive peace in the region, of which the “two-state solution” is its basis and foundation. Especially in light of the great challenges facing the Middle East region during the current period, foremost of which is the war in the Gaza Strip and its humanitarian repercussions and the danger of the conflict expanding.

The newspaper said in its editorial in its issue issued today under the title “Peace Path,” that the participation of His Highness Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Minister of Foreign Affairs, in the “Arab Six-Party” ministerial meeting with US Secretary of State Anthony Blinken in Riyadh, confirms the UAE’s firm approach to preserving human rights. The brotherly Palestinian people, support for regional and global peace and stability, and its keenness to build bridges of cooperation with various countries, in order to achieve development and prosperity for all peoples.
At the conclusion of its editorial, it explained that the UAE has been making intense efforts since the outbreak of the war in Gaza, through regional, international and international meetings and gatherings, to work to reach a sustainable ceasefire and avoid the expansion of the conflict in the region, and places as its top priority the end of extremism, tension and escalating violence, and the protection of… The lives of all civilians are lost, while the state’s humanitarian aid to the people of the Gaza Strip continues in a sustainable manner, to enable them to overcome these difficult circumstances.
