watched| Iftar celebration for the 10th year in Matareya

For the tenth year in a row, the people of the Matareya neighborhood organized their collective iftar.

 

But this year was not like the previous ones, as the people of Matareya were keen for the tenth year iftar to be different. Unlike their predecessors, they painted all the facades of houses, drawing graffiti of the most famous characters and phrases of the holy month of Ramadan, in addition to drawing more than one graffiti for the State of Palestine, to express their solidarity with the people of Gaza during their resistance to the occupation.

 

The Matareya collective iftar is held in the middle of Ramadan every year, and all residents participate in preparing it. Dozens and perhaps hundreds of young men and women from the neighborhood take a role in participating in the preparation and preparation, and the elderly also participate in preparing this iftar. The large project, which is funded by all residents of the region with love and generosity.
