Cutting off water for 10 hours from the villages of Al-Manawat and burying it in the center and city of Abu Al-Nimros… tomorrow.

Giza Governorate announced that as part of the implementation of the conversion of a 600 mm diameter water line that conflicts with the construction of the beginning and home of the Hasballah Al-Kafrawy Bridge in the city of Abu Al-Nimros, Egypt-Assiut Agricultural Road, the line has been converted and the connection work on the existing line remains.

 

Giza Governorate indicated that the Water and Sanitation Company will cut off water for a period of “10” Hours from 1 a.m. on Friday, corresponding to March 29, 2024, until 11 a.m. on Saturday, corresponding to March 30, 2024, in order to connect the new line with the existing line. Giza Governorate clarifies that the areas affected by the water cut are: Al-Manawat village and Tamouh village.

 

Major General Ahmed Rashid, Governor of Giza, assigned the head of the Drinking Water and Sanitation Company to adhere to the timetable specified for the work to restore water pumping in its natural form to the affected areas, directing the head of the city of Abu Nomros to field follow-up of the work and remove any obstacles. Giza Governorate explains that the Water and Sanitation Company will provide vehicles loaded with clean drinking water to move to the affected areas, and for emergencies, the hotline 125 will be contacted to meet their needs immediately.
