Details of the 72nd regular meeting of the Board of Directors of the Healthcare Authority
Adding a new section to the training regulations that includes non-employees
The Board of Directors of the Public Authority for Health Care was held, headed by Dr. Ahmed Al-Sabki Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Authority, General Supervisor of the Comprehensive Health Insurance and Decent Life projects at the Ministry of Health and Population, held its periodic meeting No. (72), at the Authority’s main headquarters in Cairo.
The meeting reviewed A proposal to add a new chapter to the training regulations for employees of the Public Health Care Authority issued by Resolution No. 19 of 2023, as the Authority’s Board of Directors agreed to add a new chapter for training non-workers.
The meeting discussed , training internship students in medical colleges in health facilities affiliated with the Care Authority in the comprehensive insurance governorates, as the Council agreed in principle to train students of the College of Medicine in the internship year in health facilities affiliated with the Care Authority.
The meeting discussed a draft decision of the Board of Directors of the Public Authority for Health Care regarding the rules for contracting with employees of the Authority referred for retirement, as the Council approved the draft decision regarding contracting with employees of the Authority from the health team referred for retirement for the benefit of work.
 
The meeting dealt with the actual operation of the Technical Secondary School of Nursing in Esna in Luxor Governorate, and the Health Technical Institute branch in Sohag, Esna Branch, and the transfer of the affiliation of the Technical Secondary School of Nursing in Al-Tur in South Sinai Governorate, where the Council agreed, in principle, to Annexing and operating the two schools to the Technical Reaya Nursing Institutes, and assigning the executive management to take measures to transfer the affiliation to the Technical Reaya Nursing Institutes affiliated with the Authority.
The Council approved the disbursement of the financial reward to the employees of the Technical Reaya Institute. For nursing affiliated with the Health Care Authority, at the International Medical Complex in Luxor Governorate, and seconded from education for the academic year 2022/2023.
It should be noted that a meeting of the Board of Directors of the General Welfare Authority is being held. Health care services on a monthly basis, in order to discuss the most important topics related to work and policy development proposals, in addition to developing future plans to ensure the continuity of control and organization of the provision of health care services to beneficiaries of the comprehensive health insurance system and all customers with professionalism and world-class quality.
The meeting of the Board of Directors of the General Authority for Health Care, No. (72), was attended by members of the Authority’s Board of Directors, Dr. Ihab Abu Aish, Deputy Minister of Finance and Vice President of the General Authority for Comprehensive Health Insurance, Dr. Osama Abdel-Hay, Head of the General Syndicate of Physicians, Dr. Sami Saad, Head of the General Syndicate of Physical Therapy, Dr. Kawthar Mahmoud, Head of the General Syndicate of Nursing, Member of the Senate, Dr. Farid Muharram, health cost accounting expert and economic advisor to the Health Care Authority, Dr. Ibrahim Fakhr, a member of civil society who is a health care expert, and Dr. Faten Abdel Aziz, full professor. The meeting was also attended by Dr. Amir Al-Talwani, Executive Director of the General Authority for Health Care, and Dr. Gamal Routba, Advisor to the President of the Authority for Actuarial Studies. Head of the Central Administration for Institutional Support Services, Dr. Ahmed Hammad, Advisor to the President of the Authority for Health Policies and Systems and Director General of the General Administration of International Cooperation, Dr. Fathi Shams El-Din, Media Advisor to the President of the Authority and General Supervisor of the Media Department, Engineer Mohamed El-Sisi, Director of Crisis and Disaster Management and Director of International Partnerships The general supervisor of achieving the Authority’s vision, in addition to Rasha Shaker, head of the technical secretariat of the Board of Directors of the General Authority for Health Care, and Ahmed Moselhi, member of the technical office of the Vice President of the General Authority for Health Care.
