President Sisi discusses with his Palestinian counterpart the latest developments in the situation in Gaza
President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi made a phone call with Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas, during which he congratulated him on the formation of the new Palestinian government, wishing it success in achieving the aspirations of the brotherly Palestinian people, stressing Egypt’s constant keenness to continue providing all aspects of support to the Palestinian people and leadership. < /p>
The call also discussed the latest developments in the situation in the Gaza Strip, and developments in the efforts undertaken by Egypt with the aim of reaching an immediate and sustainable ceasefire, and increasing the flow of relief aid to all parts of the Strip.
The two presidents also stressed the continuation of work from Delaying the just settlement of the Palestinian issue and the establishment of an independent Palestinian state on the borders of June 4, 1967, with East Jerusalem as its capital.
