The Chairman of the Pharmaceutical Authority meets with representatives of the Pharmaceuticals Division of the Federation of Chambers of Commerce
Dr. Ali Al-Ghamrawi, President of the Egyptian Medicines Authority, and a number of Authority leaders, including Dr. Ayman Al-Khatib, Vice President of the Authority, Dr. Rasha Ziadeh, Assistant to the President of the Authority for Technical Development and Capacity Development, met with Dr. Ali Aouf, Head of the Pharmaceuticals Division of the General Federation of Chambers. Commercial, and the accompanying delegation of members of the division, at the authority’s headquarters in Maadi.
After that, another meeting was held in the presence of Dr. Tariq Al-Houbi, Head of the National Food Safety Authority, a number of leaders of the National Food Safety Authority, Dr. Gamal El-Laithi, President of the Pharmaceutical Industry Chamber of the Egyptian Federation of Industries, and a number of representatives of the industry sector. During the two meetings, a number of topics of interest to industry partners to support the pharmaceutical sector were discussed.
For his part, Dr. Ali Al-Ghamrawi, Chairman of the Authority, expressed his happiness with the permanent and effective communication between the Authority and the Division under Challenges and developments facing the pharmaceutical sector, indicating that the Authority seeks to cooperate with industry partners to overcome the challenges facing the pharmaceutical sector.
 
While Dr. Tariq Al-Houbi stressed the openness of the Egyptian and National Food Safety Authority to cooperate in a way that guarantees the public interest and supports the economies of the pharmaceutical sector partners in general, indicating the keenness of the two authorities to continue cooperation and permanent coordination.
Dr. Ayman Al-Khatib pointed out the importance of strengthening the bonds of cooperation between the Authority and the Division, and opening the doors of permanent dialogue, in a way that advances the pharmaceutical sector and ensures the public interest.
Dr. Gamal El-Laithi stressed the importance of cooperation between the Egyptian and national drug authorities for food safety, including It leads to supporting the industry, adding that this is in the interest of the Egyptian patient.
This comes In light of the Egyptian Medicine Authority’s constant and continuous endeavor to achieve the goals of Egyptian pharmaceutical security, and to achieve effective communication with industry partners, in a way that serves the state’s development plans, as well as emphasizing its support for national efforts and the localization of pharmaceutical industries in Egypt.
