The Secretary General of the Association of Islamic Universities congratulates the Egyptian people on the start of a new presidential term for President Sisi

The Association of Islamic Universities extended its sincere congratulations to the great Egyptian people on the occasion of the beginning of a new phase and the beginning of a new presidential term for His Excellency President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi. It also congratulated His Excellency on the decision of the Mediterranean Parliament to grant President El-Sisi the “Hero of Peace” award. In appreciation of his tireless efforts to achieve peace and stability in the Middle East region 

The Secretary-General of the Association, Dr. Sami Al-Sharif, confirmed that the Association has received all support, assistance and appreciation from the political leadership in Egypt since moving its headquarters to Cairo in 1994.

p>Dr. Al-Sharif said: The presence of the Association’s headquarters within the Arab Republic of Egypt, and within the framework of Al-Azhar University, is a soft power for Egypt, and that His Excellency Sheikh Dr. Muhammad bin Abdul Karim Al-Issa – President of the Association – always stresses his keen interest in the importance of the Association remaining in Its headquarters are in Cairo, the beating heart of the Islamic nation, and it bears the banner of moderation and openness to various cultures and civilizations.

Al-Sherif added: The Association of Islamic Universities is following with great interest the extent of the achievements made during the era of President Sisi during his previous term, and in various fields. It realizes that what has been accomplished is an honorable act befitting the status of Egypt, the greatness of its people, and the fragrance of its ancient history.

The Secretary-General praised the efforts made by President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi to renew enlightened religious discourse, support religious institutions and maximize their status. In this regard, he pointed to the support provided by the Egyptian state to develop plans to prepare imams, preachers and preachers, and to rehabilitate and renew the Al-Bayt mosques in Egypt.

He said: The Egyptian Islamic Cultural Center in the New Administrative Capital is an unprecedented civilizational breakthrough. It confirms President Sisi’s keenness on the distinguished position of Egypt with its bright Islamic presence.

In the same context, His Excellency the Secretary General of the Association praised the tireless efforts achieved by Egypt under its wise political leadership in the field of developing university education, the interest in maximizing its position, and His Excellency’s keenness to Opening up to various prestigious international schools by establishing branches of distinguished foreign universities in Egypt, as well as establishing partnerships and agreements with them.

Al-Sherif said: Egypt has witnessed tangible progress in university education during the past ten years, as the number of universities has increased. To 92 universities, the number of foreign university branches reached seven branches in the New Administrative Capital. The Secretary General of the Association of Islamic Universities added that these achievements in the fields of university education, Islamic advocacy, and other fields reflect an insightful vision by His Excellency President Sisi to rebuild the awareness of the Egyptian and Muslim people, which is clearly evident in all of His Excellency’s speeches, which focus on that building awareness should be The mission of all state agencies and institutions, at the heart of which are educational, religious, cultural and media institutions.

The Secretary General of the Association of Islamic Universities wished His Excellency President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi every success for a new republic that represents an addition and strength to our Arab and Islamic world, wishing the government and people of Egypt All goodness, elevation, prosperity and progress.
