Al-Ahly defeats Zamalek in the first round of the Volleyball Men’s League final

The Al-Ahly club’s men’s volleyball team achieved victory over its counterpart, Zamalek, with a score of 3/0 in the first round of the Premier League final for the 2023/2024 local season, at the Dr. Hassan Mustafa Hall on the 6th of October.

The second round of the final is scheduled to be held the day after tomorrow, Friday, in the same hall, where the title will be decided in the playoff system by the winning team in two matches, and in the event of a tie between Zamalek, a playoff match will be held on April 7.

For the bronze medal, Smouha competes with Sporting, and the former succeeded in winning the first match with a score of 3/1, and Smouha needs to win in Friday’s match to secure third place.

It is noteworthy that the Al-Ahly club’s women’s team achieved victory over Zamalek with a score of 3/0 in the first match of the final round, which was held on Tuesday at the Dr. Hassan Mustafa Hall. On the 6th of October, the second round will be held on Thursday in the same hall.

In the third and fourth place matches, the women’s Sporting team achieved victory over Smouha with a score of 3/1.
