Commentary (Updated April 4, 2024): Amazon Prime Video’s “Mr. & Mrs. Smith” has made it official, and is submitting the Donald Glover and Maya Erskine critically acclaimed spy series in the drama categories. It debuts on the charts this week in three major categories including drama series.

The first ranking charts for lead actor in a drama, comedy and limited series have debuted where Gary Oldman (“Slow Horses”), Jeremy Allen White (“The Bear”) and Jon Hamm (“Fargo”) sit in the pole positions. But it’s still early. Get ready for lots of movements.

The first glimpse at reality competition program, game show, unstructured reality and documentary (series) have been added below. Those have established favorites like “RuPaul’s Drag Race,” “Untucked” and “Jeopardy” but there’s room for some new faces to enter the fray such as Bravo’s “Love on the Spectrum” and Dropout’s “Game Changers.” Regarding documentary series, HBO/Max’s “Quiet on Set: The Dark Side of TV” is the early frontrunner, but we still await anticipated projects such as the second season of “The Jinx” and Hulu’s “Thank You, Goodnight: The Bon Jovi Story.”

Upcoming For Your Consideration (FYC) events: Netflix’s TV movie “Scoop” will have an event in New York on April 4. Showtime’s “Dreaming Whilst Black” will have its big in person event on April 8 to be followed on April 9 with the double-hitters of Paramount+’s reboot “Frasier” and the highly-buzzy docu-series “Quiet on Set: The Dark Side of Kids TV” from Max.

Note: Not all category and genre placements are yet to be confirmed.
