Turki Al-Sheikh responded to the Zamalek club’s refusal to hold the summit match against Al-Ahly club in the Egyptian League championship, in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

The head of the General Entertainment Authority in Saudi Arabia confirmed that Al-Ahly and Zamalek clubs agreed to play the two matches in the Kingdom, saying: “All financial and logistical matters were agreed upon, but FIFA laws led to the cancellation of the idea.”
He continued: “ Sports officials in Egypt addressed FIFA to allow the two matches to be held in Saudi Arabia, but the rate of receiving a positive response was very small.
