European stocks fall to their lowest levels in two weeks

London, April 5, 2017 – European stock indices fell during today’s trading, recording their lowest levels in nearly two weeks.

By 12:01 pm UAE time, the European Stoxx 600 index fell by 1.16%, or the equivalent of 5.93 points, to reach the level of 504.91 points.

The German DAX index fell by 1.3%, or 239.8 points, to reach 18,160.79 points, while the Euro Stoxx 50 index fell by 1.39%, or 71 points, to reach 4,999.56 points.

The French CAC 40 index fell by about 108 points, or 1.33%, to reach 8,043.07 points, and the British FTSE 100 index fell by about 0.93%, or the equivalent of 74 points, to reach 7,902.95 points.
