Tube passengers left horrified after man massages his partners bare feet on the Northern line

From eating interesting food combinations that stink out the carriage, to mass brawls breaking out, Londoners have witnessed a host of odd occurrences on the Underground.

Commuters in the capital have seen their fair share of sights, with only a few really shocking things being able to pull people’s eyes away from their phones.

However, one passenger was left truly horrified after a fellow tube commuter proceeded to massage their partner’s bare feet on public transport.

Lola Browne was travelling on London Underground’s Northern Line and was overjoyed when she managed to get a seat on the busy carriage.

But her journey soon took a turn for the worse in a TikTok that has since gone viral with over 1.4m views and 311,000 likes.

The peaceful trip was quickly interrupted by a brazen couple who couldn’t keep their hands off each other.

A man wearing a black puffer jacket and blue jeans sat directly next to Lola.

His female partner then sat opposite him looking a little worse for wear.

In the TikTok, the woman appears to be holding a bag of takeaway food and a packet of cigarettes in her hands.

Suddenly, she slips a foot out of her Ugg boots and places her leg across the aisle and onto her partner’s lap – blocking the walkway.

He then begins stroking and rubbing the soles of her bare feet just millimetres away from Lola’s legs as the train approaches Euston station.

‘Get me out of here immediately,’ she fumes. Other passengers were left in disbelief at the bizarre footage.

One person said: ‘Not to be dramatic but I’d text TFL police,’ with a second joking: ‘See it, say it, sorted’.

‘I’d say no way but there is because it’s London,’ quipped another person.

Meanwhile, someone else questioned: ‘What type of love is this?’

Others remarked: ‘What is happening?’ and ‘I would just start screaming I don’t know’.

‘The London underground really is an experience,’ added another Brit.

Another guessed: ‘This is definitely the Bakerloo line,’ to which Lola confirmed it was the Northen Line.

‘Get the London look’ and ‘Normal day in London,’ joked others.

The incident comes just after a pregnant woman sparked a debate online by complaining that it took 10 minutes for someone to offer her a seat on the Underground.

Sophia Amelia, who posts under the handle @sophiaamelia92, shared a video of the experience to TikTok, which has already been seen by more than 244,000 people.

In the clip, the mother records the scene inside the tube as it passes through several stops with her standing up and no one offering her a seat.

She captioned the video: ‘Literally took me 10 minutes to get a seat this day.

‘I have a baby on board badge and people very clearly DID see me, then quickly looked down at their phones.

‘Eventually, a woman did offer me her seat but it’s ALWAYS women that do, men avoid.’

The video quickly circulated online as people offered up their differing opinions – some insisted the mother should be asking for seat.

One user wrote: ‘Just ask? I barely pay attention to my surroundings on the tube.’
