A 4.9 magnitude earthquake strikes southwest China
BEIJING, 6 APRIL/WAM/ A 4.9-magnitude earthquake struck today in Yunnan Province, southwest China, and no information was reported about casualties or damage.
The Chinese Seismological Center reported that the tremor was recorded at 10:29 local time in Zhaotong City, Yunnan Province, and the epicenter of the earthquake was at a depth of 10 kilometers.
