Mohamed Al-Shahat, brother of Al-Ahly player Hussein Al-Shahat, revealed the developments in the latter’s health condition after his injury against Simba.
He said in statements on the On Time Sports channel: “Hussein Al-Shahat has undergone tests, and the results will appear on Saturday. Hussein Al-Shahat will be placed under observation for 24 hours, and the doctor reassured Hussein Al-Shahat that he has regained consciousness.”
The brother of the Al-Ahly player added: " Hussein was suffering from a problem with consciousness after a strong impact below his eye during the match, and there are suspicions that he suffered a fracture, but everyone is waiting for the results of the tests, and the Al-Ahly doctor was at the hospital, and a number of the team’s players also visited him.
Al-Shahat suffered an injury in the last minutes of the match, after a challenge from a Simba player, which hit his head from behind, causing him to fall, and then he was immediately replaced.
