Officials in the health sector: The UAE is keen to provide the best health services

ABU DHABI, 6th April, 2018 (WAM) – Officials working in the health sector have confirmed that the health services sector in the UAE is witnessing important development and achievements commensurate with the renewed health challenges. He added that the wise leadership places health at the top of its priorities, and thanks to its wise vision, health facilities in the country have begun to attract the best medical personnel, provide their facilities with the latest health devices and equipment, and apply the highest international health standards so that the patient receives the best medical care that competes with what is provided in major international health institutions.

He pointed out that the state is keen to qualify and train national cadres in a way that contributes to supplying the health sector with Emirati competencies who are responsible for providing the best health care services to patients. He stated that the National Rehabilitation Center in Abu Dhabi is keen to develop services for treating and rehabilitating addiction cases at the hands of the best cadres and in accordance with the latest international standards.

He added that the center is continuing to develop its treatment and rehabilitation services in parallel with developing its research plans, concluding partnerships and exchanging experiences with international centers to reach the highest quality standards in implementing addiction recovery programs in accordance with the Abu Dhabi government’s 2030 vision.

He stressed that the state is keen to provide all forms of support to the center, which enhances its role in awareness and treatment of addiction and consolidates its leading position regionally and globally.

For her part, Safia Al-Maqtari, Acting CEO of Mubadala Healthcare Dubai, said that the health and well-being of communities represents a major factor in the development and prosperity of countries.
