On the occasion of the celebration of Eid al-Fitr…an exceptional visit for inmates of correctional and rehabilitation centres
On the occasion of the celebration of “Eid al-Fitr,” and in the interest of the Ministry of Interior to provide all aspects of support and care to inmates of correctional and rehabilitation centers and to provide them with the opportunity to meet their families on various occasions, it was decided to grant all inmates (one exceptional visit) on both days (the pause – the first Days of Eid al-Fitr) and will be continued after the end of the Eid leave for those who have not exhausted it until Wednesday, April 24, 2024.. The exceptional visit referred to is not counted among the visits scheduled for inmates.
This comes within the framework of the Ministry of Interior’s keenness to uphold human rights values, implement the punitive policy with its modern approach, and provide various aspects of care for inmates.
