World’s oldest man, 111, says weekly fish and chips key to his long life

London: A British great-grandfather who recently became the world’s oldest man has said his weekly fish and chips is the key to his longevity.
John Tinniswood, 111, said his long life was largely due to eating staple British food and taking “everything in moderation”.
The father-of-one, who lives in a care home in Southport, Merseyside, in England, took the title this week following the death of Juan Vicente Perez, 114, from Venezuela.
Guinness World Records met with Tinniswood at his residence on Friday to present him with his certificate.
