A bargain hunter since childhood, Julien Cohen was discovered by the general public by participating in the show Deal Done on France 2. But how much does the famous antiques dealer earn? The man with blue glasses spoke on the set of At Jordan’sthis April 8.

How much does antiques dealer Julien Cohen earn?

Entrepreneur, Julien Cohen didn’t need his fame to make money! Today he continues to live comfortably since his departure fromDeal Done end of 2021. “It depends on the business, I have several companies. There are businesses that are positive, others negative. But overall, we live well.” he explains in the show At Jordan’s on C8.

So what is his salary? While Jordan De Luxe ventured to put forward the figure of 30,000 euros per month, Julien Cohen immediately responded: “No, that’s not it (…) I pay a 6-figure number in taxes, we pay more than 100,000 euros per year in taxes. There are people on the left who will say: we must share all the wealth of the rich, but if the rich leave, there is nothing left.”

With his wife Karine, to whom he has been married since 1998, he has already considered leaving France. “We did everything with my wife: Spain, Portugal, the United States, Israel, everywhere. And there is not a single country worth France. We have the most beautiful country in the world, we just have to manage to live together like before. We go back 50 years and everything will be fine.”

Julien Cohen in Affaire Conclue: “If you don’t buy, you don’t go on the air anymore”

This father of 3 has fond memories of his years spent on the show Deal Done and is still friends with the collector Pierre-Jean Chalençon. His only regret? His purchases at a loss.I spent 1,200,000 euros in 4 and a half years, I brought in 800,000 euros because I managed to sell 800,000 euros worth of objects. But there’s 400,000 euros that I’m going to sit on. I bought unsellable things. Every day I see things on TV that are unsellable.”he says.

But why did the 58-year-old antique dealer buy so much in Deal Done ?Because if you don’t buy, you’re no longer on the air. That’s the rule, we’re not going to pay people on TV if they don’t buy. There were some who jumped because they bought too much, made too much effort and their cash flow was not keeping up. And then there are others that we no longer see because they have no purchase or no charisma.” admitted the businessman. Without regret ?
