Chantal Goya gave an interview to Guillaume Pley for his show Legend, broadcast on Youtube. The singer spoke about her relationship with plastic surgery. And the octogenarian affirms it: she has never used the scalpel! The reason ? She is simply afraid of the result. “Do you realize? We’re sleeping, but how are we going to wake up? She’s going to be the surprise!”exclaims the star. “Ah well, I’m going to create a buzz!”says Chantal Goya, well aware of the media coverage to which she is still subject. “I have three million people who will say: ‘What did she do? She’s crazy!'”

If many of today’s artists resort to cosmetic surgery, Chantal Goya explains that this was not the case for the stars of the 80s. “Even at 20 we weren’t doing that! she assured. Sylvie Vartan, Françoise Hardy, Sheila, France Gall… We didn’t even need makeup. We had a very simple light, our youth and… we were not remade. (…) Today it’s a shame, they are fixed at 15, 20 years.” The secret of the beauty of Jean-Jacques Debout’s wife? “A little foundation, a little concealer, powder and done. No tinkering, nothing. Having a truck instead of a mouth, no thanks!”
