Chinese stocks close mixed

BEIJING, APRIL 10, WAM/ Chinese stock indices closed mixed at the end of trading today, and the Hong Kong Stock Exchange succeeded in rising to its highest levels since last November.

The Hang Seng Index on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange rose by 1.85 percent, equivalent to 311.1 points, to reach the level of 17,139.17 points.

On the other hand, the SSI Composite Index on the Shanghai Stock Exchange fell by about 0.7 percent, or 21.2 points, to reach 3,027.34 points.
